In the face of immense challenges and uncertainties, JR embarked on an inspiring journey in 2020, launching SCFD from the depths of the wilderness. Leaving behind a prosperous 17-year career in the music industry, he embraced the unknown with resilience and a commitment to self-discovery.
Through years marked by health and financial hurdles, his unwavering dedication to self-care, sacred herbal showers and his internal growth led him to turn pain into purpose, creating product concepts and formulas for natural soaps, inspiring video content, foster a community, and nurture business ventures.
JR's relentless pursuit culminates in the successful release of SCFD’s innovative line of soaps and goods, backed by a thriving community of over 270,000 followers accumulating over 28 million views. His story is a testament to the transformative power of perseverance and bold action.

Trevor, an undeniably pioneering artist and designer, breathes life into Self-Care For Dudes through his vibrant energy and creativity. Every piece of art you see from our soap boxes to our logos and imagery, Trevor designed. A part of the team since it was founded in 2020, he has played a crucial role in shaping the foundation of SCFD’s visual identity.

Joining the team during the early years of Self-Care For Dudes, Ethan has been instrumental in shaping its success, taking charge of key operation responsibilities and driving impactful initiatives that inspire growth and connection.
How We Make Em’
Our soaps first start with a purpose, an issue to solve and a unique shower experience. From this foundation, our small team set out to invent the greatest soap known to dude.
We carefully select and test very best ingredients, mix the natural scent blends, use an ancient yet unique saponification process, sketch real artwork and include self-care wisdom for each soap bar’s theme.
The result is an artisan soap that provides a daily ritual like no other. A soap that nourishes skin & hair, won’t dry you out, is beneficial for sensitive skin and all skin types, awakens the senses with real aromas, and enhances your manly essence without synthetic colognes or chemicals. It took much time, blood, sweat and tears; we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We then cure each bar for 4-6 weeks allowing the ingredients and natural scent blends to truly become one.
