• Test for hard water. If you have hard water, any and all soaps and conditioners will not be able to function and lather properly. Soft water = better lather = uses less soap = better for your skin and hair. Solution: Install a filtered shower head or water softener.
  
  
• Use hands or scrubber. Lightly coat hair & body with soap bar then use hands or scrubber (not the bar) to massage soap into skin for a minimum of 5 minutes while the ingredients work. Let it sit and work its magic.

No. We do not use any synthetic "cologne-like" fragrances. We only use pure essential oils and natural extracts also known as Naturally Derived Fragrances.

• Hard water will negatively affect the function any soap no matter the brand or recipe.
• It's hard on your skin and hair due to its high mineral content that can cause skin dryness and brittle hair.
• It keeps soap from lathering properly and inhibits the soaps ingredients from working.
• For instance with our soaps, we add additional castor oil, shea butter and fine ground oats to produce a moisturizing and conditioning effect that lasts after the shower. But when used with hard water, these ingredients are easily stripped from the skin and aren't able to do their work.
